Who is Arthur O’fieldstream?
A world traveler, story teller, outdoorsman, conservationsist, naturalist, educator. Above all, O’fieldstream is a dedicated preservationist of the Outdoor Heritage Traditions that mold men and women into who they are: a Heritagekeeper.
What is Arthur O’fieldstream’s OUTDOOR JOURNAL?
A compilation of the years of travel, and knowledge seeking done by Arthur O’fieldstream. People, events, places, tools, techniques, art, stories and so much more. A living archive of the activities of our Outdoor Heritage Traditions. The Journals were developed for the sole purpose of keeping the Activities alive: in our hearts, our minds, our souls and our eyes.
Why did Arthur O’fileldstream write and publish an OUTDOOR JOURNAL?
During his travels and knowledge seeks, he became acutely aware of the need to preserve those Outdoor Heritage Traditions that were in danger of being lost; forgotten; and destroyed. So, he undertook this labor of love - to build a lasting record - to Pass On from generation-to-generation. In the hope, faith and knowledge, that the Outdoor Heritage Traditions would be continued.
When did Arthur O’fieldstream begin?
The development of the Journals has been on-going for years. But this electronic presense has only been a reality for but a short while. The information and the wisdom, contained within the covers, is both timeless and invaluable. It quite literally begins FOR YOU the moment you pick them up and begin to read.
Where is Arthur O’fieldstream?
That is like asking, “Where’s the Wind?” He and the Concept are everywhere, yet nowhere and somewhere at the same time. His travels take him far-and-wide in search of new knowledge; old traditions; Keepers-of-the-Heritage; and new, fertile ground in which to plant the seeds of Outdoor Heritage understanding.
