I bet if the same photo had two inner city boys tossing fighting cocks at each other, that photo will not get published.

Thank you David. I'm honored you enjoyed the read. And YES, I've watched the PBS piece on the Wolverine 4 times now. I may even buy the DVD on this one! I loved the descriptors used by author Doug Chadwick for the wolverine!

Thanks again for stopping by; reading and leaving such a nice comment.

Aye, the wolverine saga was a worthy watch on PBS. Thanks for this particular tip. Great stuff tonight. And thanks for posting these strong outdoor images, Les. Good stuff here. Hard to find in the world of internet outdoors writers. Well done.

I agree 100% with the damaging effects that lip-grip devices and improper handling have on fish ,when used properly these devices are great -more often than not they are used in a manner that is fatal to fish as a result of starvation from jaw damage, education seems to be the only hope we have to stop this trend, even with all the info out there it doesnt seem to help,I try to promote proper handling of fish in my home waters of Florida through my own actions and voice or throuh my blog "weresthefish.com" I beleive these concerns are going mainstream and there is hope. I appreciate your concerns on this issue and value your opinion, you are making a difference and I invite more of your thouhts on this issue... thanx Anytide p.s. great site you have here!
