Too little time and so much to to !

Wow!  I can’t believe I’ve not made a single new entry into the OFS Journal since in 2008 yet!  Well, maybe it’s because I’ve been so busy ‘building the technology’ that I’ve had very little time to actually be outdoors and enjoy it enough to report on it.  Now that, as many of my colleagues would say is, “Too busy!”   I agree.

However, when you work in a certain field, it’s generally the ‘work of the field’ that gets the attention and not what really drew you there in the first place.  Such as the life of the outdoor guide (regardless of the avocation or field of interest), the guide spends his or her time devoted to the clients and the necessary evil of making money.  Thus very little time is spent in the luxery of actually involving oneself in the pleasure of what you do for others.

Such is the world of the outdoor communicator.  Well some of us for sure. There are those, though, who are fortunate enough to have at their ready ‘technicians’ who ‘do the technology’ for them.  I fall in to that lot – and I fall into my own nets.  For I am both a producer/technician for others and the owner/producer/manager of my own communications world.

I will work hard to bring more fresh information to this site on the Outdoor Heritage aspects of O’fieldstream, as well as the stories of it’s creative spirit and occassionally the review of an outstanding service, product or provider (guide, manufacturer, artist or the like).

Thank you to all those who diligently check back here looking for fresh food .. or at least a chum line.  My apologies to you all – as well as the fingerlings who have happened up on the faint chum line of the past and have been rewarded with old bait, but have moved on.  I will work to attract you back.  Give the stream another whiff – you may well enjoy the feed that will take place.

Look for another post in the next 5 days and from there on after on a schedule of that frequency at least.  I will make all attempts to put up new information here – on a weekly basis.  Dish out your feedback.  I will make good use of it.

Keep you casts clean, your vision pure and your hopes high,

O’fieldstream
